In 2026, Alphazen Contract Sdn Bhd marks its 30th anniversary of serving the building and construction industry.

The company is a registered CIDB G7 Building & Civil Contractor whose existing profile lists BS EN ISO 9001:2008 accreditation and services in building and civil construction, mechanical and electrical construction, infrastructure projects and project management.

Its technical knowledge and construction experience have contributed to more than 13,500 units built across the company’s project record.

Alphazen Contract Sdn Bhd was incorporated.

021996

Initial contracts included a RM2 million factory project and RM20 million of substructure works for Selayang Hospital.

032002

Appointed primary contractor for a 108-unit SuperLink housing project.

042004

Undertook its first high-rise condominium project, valued at RM200 million.

052008

Opened the Bukit Jalil headquarters and incorporated subsidiaries and associated companies.

062012

Completed and delivered the 500-seat Calvary Convention Centre auditorium with associate E&J-Alphazen Sdn Bhd.

072014

Recorded more than RM100 million in annual turnover, with over RM500 million of work on hand and in progress.

Managing Director

Mr. Yong Kok Shiang

Mr. Yong holds a Diploma in Building and is a founder of Alphazen. His career began with Pakatan International, followed by roles with Airways Engineering Corporation and Low Keng Huat. His experience spans site delivery and project management, and he co-founded Alphazen with Mr. Chong in 1996.

Executive Director

Mr. Chong Mong Tet (Philip)

Mr. Chong holds a Diploma in Quantity Surveying and is a co-founder of Alphazen. His earlier experience included Sato Amoy, Sato Koyo and Low Keng Huat, contributing to projects including the Japanese Embassy, UKM Campus, Ampang City, Utama Shopping Complex and Johor Bahru City Hall. He has since led a range of Alphazen projects, including Calvary Convention Centre.
